"Brie and Sam have been taking karate for 3 months. During this time it has taught them respect, discipline, and to defend themselves from strangers. As parents it is a good feeling to help our girls understand self defense and that it does have its place.
We would recommend The Dojo because it teaches children respect and discipline. The neatest activity we have seen is when the children are being taught how to get out of the grip of a stranger. We also love YES SIR and DEAL SIR. The best thing of all is that they love going to class.They definitely enjoy what they are doing and we think its the best!"

"Karate training has positively influenced both of our kids. It has increased their self-esteem, self-discipline and has enhanced their fine motor skills. They absolutely love to come to class and always feel proud of themselves after class. I had checked out all of the karate studios locally before joining, and by far The Dojo stood out as being the most professional and the most centered on the well being of my children.
I love the instructors at The Dojo. They connect with my kids on so many levels. I am completely impressed with the team there. I don’t know who loves this place more, the kids or me!"

"Since starting karate both of our children have gained confidence and increased coordination with their motor skills. The children show more respect for their elders and at times show a more reserved understanding when making the choices of the day. With The Dojo Karate instructors, the children have an extended family that reinforces self-control and respect. They are also developing the ability protect themselves should they ever find themselves in that position.
We recommend training here because of the positive influence the instructors have had on our children and the confidence they have developed. The instruction helps reinforce what parents are teaching their children at home, being good kids, respecting each other and being good listeners. We have seen a great improvement in these areas since they started Karate.

"Karate has given me the confidence that I can defend myself under most situations. One of the neatest things I like is getting the exercise necessary to maintain good health without the boredom of aerobic classes.
I found that this is an activity I can do even though when I first came in their was much doubt in my mind. The staff really helped me overcome this and accomplish goals I felt where out of my reach. My energy and overall strength have increased dramatically. I love the facilities here because they are so clean and the staff is great!"
